Alan W. Budenz, MS, DDS, MBADr. Alan Budenz is a Professor in the Departments of Anatomical Sciences and of Dental Practice and is Director of Oral Diagnosis and Patient Intake at the University of the Pacific, Arthur A. Dugoni School of Dentistry in San Francisco, California. He also lectures on Surgical Head & Neck Anatomy and orthognathic surgery to Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery and Orthodontic Residents, has extensive experience in head and neck anatomy, dissection, and nerve tract identification, and has lectured internationally on local anesthesia topics. Dr. Budenz has over twenty-five years of general practice experience in San Francisco, has served as clinical Group Practice Administrator and as Chair of the Department of Diagnostic and Emergency Services, and is a general dentistry clinical floor instructor at Pacific. Due to his backÂground, Dr. Budenz is well qualified to combine basic anatomical instruction with practical clinical application for dentists and hygienists alike. Dr. Budenz presents practical, useful information that can be directly applied to clinical practice in an informal, interactive style. |
