Dean Morton

Dean Morton, BDS, MS is Professor and Chair of the Department of Oral Health and Rehabilitation at the University of Louisville School of Dentistry. He previously served as Director of Advanced Education in Prosthodontics, and Director of the Center for Implant Dentistry at the University of Florida. He is currently Chairman of the ITI Section USA, and serves as a member of the University Programs Committee of the ITI. Dr. Morton is a Diplomate of the American Board of Prosthodontics, and a Fellow of the American College of Prosthodontists, the International College of Dentists, and the International Team for Implantology (ITI). He serves as Associate Editor of the International Journal of Oral and Maxillofacial Implants, and has authored or co-authored numerous scientific articles and abstracts. He is active in research relating to implant surfaces and design, prosthodontic components and options, and esthetic implant biomaterials. He lectures nationally and internationally on implants and esthetic dentistry, and maintains a practice limited to Implant and Esthetic Dentistry and Prosthodontics at the University of Louisville School of Dentistry.
