A recent article from Science Daily on a study conducted by Dr. Jonathon Maguire, a pediatrician and researcher at St. Michael's Hospital and published in the Journal of Pediatrics, found that fewer than 1% of healthy urban children from Toronto received dental care by the age of 12 months. Furthermore, less than 2% had seen a dentist by 24 months.
