Recently, while reading a print version of Dental Product Shopper I came across an advertisement for the dental imager DrQuickLook from QuickLook, Inc. I visited the manufacturer’s web site and I liked what I saw so I purchased the imager for my practice. DrQuickLook is an imager that can be used in live-survey mode or to freeze and magnify a single image. This imager is amazingly simple to use.

How to Use Variolink Veneer

I’ve used a few different materials and techniques when cementing porcelain veneers. To be frank, I’ve often found it to be frustrating. Why? Because I don’t use the special veneer cements all that often and there’s a ton of steps. Mix this with that, then mix some more stuff together and say a prayer...No thanks.

I firmly believe one of the biggest mistakes dentists make with technology is that they fail to get enough training. Training for both the dentist and the staff. If you have not had any training on your office technology in the last 18 months you are way past due and you are costing yourself money.

Previously, there have been 2 ways to inject the wash material around the preparations. You could use a traditional single-chambered intraoral syringe into which you’d have to place the already-mixed wash material. So, you mix it, put it in the syringe, and use it immediately and you and your assistant do your best getting your timing right with loading the tray material. Both reusable and disposable versions of the single-chambered intraoral syringe have been around for a long time.
