Upon completion of this course, the student should be able to:
1. List and define important terms in Infection Control.
2. Describe diseases like Tuberculosis, Hepatitis B, and AIDS.
3. Give the rationale for immunization against the Hepatitis B Virus.
4. List the common forms of barrier techniques and the rationale for each.
5. Describe correct aseptic technique for dental procedures.
6. List the steps in correct instrument processing to achieve sterility.
