This one and a half day Press Technology Workshop is designed to provide training in the fabrication of implant abutments and restorations using IPS e.max Press. This course will focus on the technique and function requirements for pressing lithium disilicate for subsequent bonding to a prefabricated titanium base as well as the bonding procedures for the various components. Attendees will fabricate an anterior implant abutment and a posterior hybrid abutment/crown. Final glazing and characterization of the hybrid abutment/crown will be accomplished by using a variety of IPS e.max Ceram materials.
