Abstract

Digital technology has changed the manner in which dentistry is performed. Technologies are now available that enhance imaging, diagnostics, and treatment planning. Restorative care, implant treatment, and other disciplines have also benefited from digital technology. Practice management software enables integration and automation of information and tasks. Together, practice management software platforms and other digital technologies have transformed dentistry, with the ability to improve workflow, productivity, efficiency, clinical outcomes, and the patient experience.
