DEXIS’ webinar, Expanding Patient Care Through Digital Dentistry: Clinical Perspectives and Best Practices, brought together Dr. John Zalesky, Dr. Marco Brindis, Dr. Jeffrey Brockett, and Jordan Reiss to explore how integrated digital workflows can support diagnosis, treatment planning, and patient communication.

The panel featured a range of clinical and digital dentistry expertise. Dr. Zalesky is a comprehensive dentist and educator with advanced training in implants and complex prosthodontics. Dr. Brindis is a prosthodontist and former professor and department chair at LSU School of Dentistry whose practice focuses on full-mouth rehabilitation, esthetics, implants, and airway disorders. Dr. Brockett is an oral and maxillofacial radiologist who previously practiced general dentistry for nearly 10 years. Moderator Jordan Reiss, Senior Director of Clinical Strategic Development at DEXIS, brings more than 20 years of dental industry experience and expertise in 3D imaging.

A central theme of the webinar was the value of integrated imaging for comprehensive diagnosis and treatment planning. By incorporating 2D radiographs, CBCT imaging, intraoral scans, and clinical photography, clinicians can develop a more complete view of patient conditions with diagnostic information accessible in a single environment.

The panel also explored the practical side of implementing digital technology. Team training and standardized protocols were emphasized as ways to support more efficient workflows. AI-assisted review was also discussed as a tool for clinical review and patient education, with the panel emphasizing the continued importance of clinician judgment.
