After watching this webinar, viewers should be able to:  

•Learn to effectively treatment plan narrow diameter implants for overdenture therapy;

•Review the fundamentals of cone-beam CT imaging related to narrow diameter implants, techniques for image fusion techniques, and fabricating a computerized surgical guide;

•Understand guided surgical procedures related to proper implant placement for narrow diameter implants;

•Acquire knowledge and confidence in utilizing narrow diameter implants and surgical kits; and

•Learn how to effectively convert dentures to implant overdentures and managing complications.


This 1-hour evidence-based webinar will present background, theory, treatment planning, surgical and prosthetic procedures, and marketing of narrow-diameter overdenture implants. Emphasis will be placed on managing difficult denture patients and using minimally invasive surgical techniques to convert dentures to overdentures. Included is a review of the fundamental surgical technique for placing implants using CT guided surgery and computerized surgical guides, denture attachment procedures, and when to place implants immediately or delayed and with or without a flap.
