Educational Objectives

After completing this webinar, participants will be able to:

  • Describe key strategies to get your team on board and scale
  • Recognize the advantages of the digital workflow and benefits of in-house 3D printing
  • Explain how 3D printing integrates into the digital workflow

Abstract

One of the most crucial aspects to consider when adopting digital technology is: to be successful with 3D printing, you need to have your team's support. The success in the implementation of the workflow will depend on this. A lot of the back-end work -- scanning, designing, print preparation and post-processing -- will, most of the time, be managed by the dental staff in the clinic. Having your team's support will help create more efficient and cleaner workflows and guarantee the success with your patients. In this presentation, Dr. Lisa Alvetro and digital assistant Patricia Mitchell will walk you through five key considerations, including ease of use of the printer to workflow, which you need to bear in mind to successfully implement 3D printing in-house and get your team on board with the digital workflow.
