Abstract
Day-to-day dentistry has its challenges. It has never been more apparent than what we are faced with today. COVID reentry, staffing issues, schedule challenges, insurance depravity, career burnout and confusion. Join us with for this success system filled webinar and learn how Leslie Ramsey, RDH, and Dr. Brantley recognized the need to pivot from the ‘schedule’ and empower the team at their practice. Leslie will share her tips on how to successfully bring new technologies to the practice and Dr. Brantley will define the key elements of successful integration for the team.

Dr. Heath Brantley
Dr. Heath Brantley is the owner and founder of both Wendell Family Dentistry and Wendell Learning Center which provides dental continuing education in a small group environment and focuses on “smarter dentistry, happier dentists.” He is passionate about incorporating technology to enhance patient experience and increase efficiency. Dr. Brantley believes that patients are smarter than ever and aware that dentistry is a service, an art, and not a commodity. They value dentistry that saves them time, appointments, and that is comfortable. Technology allows us to diagnose more accurately and treat faster with significantly less discomfort.
Leslie Ramsey, RDH
Leslie Ramsey is a Registered Dental Hygienist in Wendell, NC. Starting in 2003, she has spent most of her career in Wake County, NC. That area is one of the fastest growing in the country, and the growth opportunities are exciting.
Leslie attended Wayne Community College for Dental Hygiene. Her mother, who was a nurse, told her it would change her life and it truly has. Leslie was featured in her local newspaper as a teenager, expressing her desire to pursue a career in the dental field.
Dental Hygiene provides Leslie with an opportunity to make a difference. She enjoys developing relationships with her patients and her team. Leslie's passion is to shift from the sick care model to embrace WellCare. She delves into the study of oral-systemic links and believes that this knowledge bridges the gap with other medical specialists.
One of her proudest achievements is becoming an SDA GBT trainer for EMS in North America. Each office she trains heightens her enthusiasm for the potential in her field. There are many like her who deeply value their career choice for all the right reasons.
The greatest passion in Leslie's life is her family, which she feels incredibly blessed to be part of. They cherish moments by the water, on their farms, and within their community. They are fortunate in North Carolina to have both the beach and mountains within reach.
