Abstract
How do patients want their care delivered? This is the primary question Dr. Bryan Laskin explores in his book The Patient First Manifesto. Clinicians are rightly focused on delivering high quality care, but there can be a great disconnect between doctors and patients. Overcoming that disconnect makes it possible, he argues, to grow the practice beyond the clinician’s dream. In this podcast-style CE course, Dr. Laskin and Perio Protect’s Tanya Dunlap discuss the main points in the book with a focus on successfully implementing initiatives that can range from new treatment protocols to uncomfortable new technology.

Bryan Laskin DDS
Dr. Bryan Laskin is a Minnesota dentist and tech entrepreneur on a mission to help dental teams and patients break free of the “Dental Disorder” through innovation, education, and standardization.

He serves as CEO and chairman of the board of Dental Standards Institute which is focused on innovation and patient advocacy, and serves as counsel for the most innovative companies in dentistry.
Dr. Laskin is an advisor and investor to many of the most progressive healthcare companies. He is also a frequent keynote speaker.
