Educational Objectives

After completing this webinar, participants will be able to:

  • Perform esthetic crown lengthening with a laser-assisted closed approach.
  • Utilize the all-tissue erbium laser for second stage implant recovery.
  • Create ideal impressions with laser troughing.
  • Establish the ideal patient environment with a minimally invasive experience.

Abstract

This presentation will walk the audience through some of the most common procedures such as esthetic crown lengthening and implant uncovering. We will also discuss utilizing the laser for soft tissue troughing for optimal intraoral scanning (or conventional analogic impression techniques), thereby ensuring ideal transfer of preparation design and thus attaining adequate restorative margins of the restorations. Laser-assisted ceramic veneer removal through a minimally invasive approach is now an acceptable standard.
