Educational Objectives

After completing this webinar, participants will be able to:

  • Analyze via time metrics where we spend our RDH time and make positive changes the current workflow tasks in the RDH operatory by actual time metrics.
  • Introduce new technologies to accomplish periodontal health in a timely effective manner.
  • Place emphasis on a dental hygiene centric environment for the practice.
  • Create a patient environment to allow positive interaction to reinforce restorative and periodontal plans for acceptance.

Abstract

Ask any hygienist and they will promptly tell you time in the daily routine is a treasured commodity. Then add marginal insurance reimbursement for the “prophy” patient and you have the perfect storm.

We will dissect minute by minute RDH procedures from the new patient exam through periodontal debridement to recall and create a time-tested positive environment: a venue that builds patient relationships, sells dentistry with decreased stress for the team. The introduction of technologies that are true time savers will be explored and implemented to realty.
