Abstract
Are you thinking of elevating your patient clinical care? Enhancing patient care in the hygiene operatory is now more accessible than ever with the adjunctive use of diode lasers in the operatory. Rather than the antiquated “wait and see” paradigm, we can now expect more predictable treatment outcomes in periodontal AND gingival health indices. Join us for an introductory course describing general concepts associated with diode laser use in dental hygiene along with basic physics, safety parameters, and clinical applications to boost ROI.

Florie Mancilla, RDH
Florie V. Mancilla is a registered dental hygienist based in southern California. She has spent 21 years in the dental field, starting her career as an RDA and then progressing to earn her Bachelor of Science from Loma Linda University’s dental hygiene program in 2011. She has served in varied hygiene roles such as specialty dental practices, school-based teledentistry programs, non-profit public health settings, and clinical and didactic faculty for dental hygiene and dental assisting programs. She has been working with lasers since 2012 and is excited to share her laser experience with you today.
