Abstract
In today’s general dental practice, the most commonly used materials are Composites and bonding agents. The progression of this material class has been dramatic. The holy grail has always been a fast, accurate and durable material, that is easy to place and finish. We will talk about what is currently available and how to incorporate it into your practice tomorrow. Time is everyone’s friend or foe in the world in which we live. The quicker we can accomplish a task the better it is for both the provider and the patient. Post operative sensitivity is the last thing that either the patient or the practitioner wants to deal with. There is no reason that it should happen with the proper use of today’s bonding and composite restorations.

Author Bio
Scott Coleman, DDS
Dr. Coleman’s institutional education and intensive continuing education have elevated him to the top of his field. He graduated cum laude from Stephen F. Austin State University in 1980 with a major in biology and a minor in chemistry. He went on to earn his DDS degree, graduating first in his class at the University of Texas Dental Branch at Houston in 1984. Dr. Coleman is a clinical associate professor at the University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston.
