Restoration of primary teeth presents unique clinical challenges that require efficiency, sound clinical judgment, and a strong understanding of both traditional and minimally invasive restorative approaches. This course provides a comprehensive overview of restorative techniques for primary dentition, emphasizing practical strategies that improve outcomes while minimizing chair time.
Participants will explore principles of minimally invasive dentistry alongside conventional restorative preparations; learning when and how to apply each approach in the management of carious primary teeth. The course will review preparation design, restorative techniques, and finishing protocols for both restorations and zirconia and stainless steel crowns, with an emphasis on predictable results.
In addition, the course introduces a systematic clinical approach to pediatric restorative care aimed at improving efficiency, streamlining decision-making, and reducing treatment time in the operatory. Attendees will also gain an understanding of commonly used restorative materials, including their indications, advantages, and limitations in primary dentition.
