Educational Objectives
After completing this webinar, participants will be able to:
• Understand why modern endodontic practices and applications benefit their practice
• Design endodontic access cavities which conserve dentin in the cervical third of the tooth
• Gain knowledge and skill to increase success rate of root canal treatment
Abstract
We will be examining legacy concepts such as access design, instrumentation, restoration of endodontically treated teeth, and how modern technologies such as small-diameter heat-treated rotary files, microscopes, and CBCTs are allowing us to completely change the way we perform endodontics at the highest level with strategic dentin preservation in mind.

Ron Rabi, DMD
Dr. Rabi’s enthusiasm for dentistry began during high school when he lived in Orlando, FL. He would spend his summers working in his uncle’s dental office. Dr. Rabi obtained his Bachelor of Science Degree in Biology at Nova Southeastern University and his Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry at the University of Florida. After 7 years of private practice as a general dentist in Orlando and teaching part time at the University of Florida, Dr. Rabi chose to further his education and was accepted to the University of California, San Francisco for residency in his greatest passion, endodontics.
