Abstract

This course underscores the crucial role of fostering positive habits in promoting overall health for patients in dental settings. By integrating a coaching approach, dental hygiene professionals can motivate patients to establish lasting oral health routines, positively impacting their overall well-being. The course introduces foundational coaching strategies to build patient connections and trust to facilitate enduring habit changes. Emphasizing the importance of timely information delivery, the course advocates for "just-in-time learning" to prevent information overload.
