Abstract

Do you want to provide excellent endodontic care for your patients? This virtual and unique hands-on course is designed for dentists to gain expertise and confidence with completing the highest quality endodontics on both vital and necrotic teeth. 
Participants used newly designed NiTi files included in the hands-on kit to learn advanced glide path negotiation and shaping techniques. Other topics include minimally invasive endodontics while conserving tooth structure and maintaining working length. This exciting multi-media program highlights solutions and suggestions on how to treat straightforward and complex endodontic cases. 
This virtual and hands-on workshop included a hands-on kit containing NiTi files, stainless steel files, and a state of the art 3-D printed tooth. The hands-on technique being taught can be used with your current endodontic motor. (Full Rotary, Reciprocation, or Adaptive Technology Motion).

Author Bio

Dr. Herbert Ray

Dr Ray received his DMD in 1988 and then completed his residency in endodontics at Temple University School of Dentistry in 1990, where he received the Louis I Grossman Study Club Resident Award for academic and clinical excellence. He is a Diplomate of the American Board of Endodontics since 1995 and maintained a private practice limited to endodontics for 20 years. Currently, he is the Director of the Endodontic residency program, and Chair of the Department of Endodontics at the University of Pittsburgh School of Dental Medicine. Dr Ray is a member of the Center for Craniofacial Regeneration and holds an appointment at the McGowan Institute for Regenerative Medicine. Dr. Ray has authored several articles related to his research interests and lectures extensively on all aspects of clinical endodontic therapy.
