Abstract
By now, the world breaks out in COVID-like symptoms just from the fear of an ever-changing virus. Our beloved profession was sent to the back of the room like disruptive schoolchildren and deemed nonessential without explanation. On January 21st, 2020, our world changed forever. Nothing would feel the same or be the same, and the "new normal" was the key terminology exchanged by many—even if they didn’t completely grasp its magnitude.
Dentists, on the other hand, completely understood the magnitude from our 1980s experience dealing with AIDS in a dental office. However, the media seems to have forgotten about that, as well as the fact that dental offices, for the most part, are prepared to deal with aerosols—whether they are generated in our own backyard or imported from Wuhan. But how are we addressing the fallout, especially when it comes to office closures, patients’ fears, clinicians not wanting to return to clinics, treatment plans going stagnant, or returning to old, ineffective treatment techniques?
What if you could participate in a highly interactive program to help you better identify co-morbidities in your current patient pool that put individuals at risk for a viral attack, jeopardize their overall health and wellness, and ultimately, impact your bottom line? In this course, a dynamic clinician and passionate preventionist share several key objectives to help your team rise above the aerosol cloud and become laser-focused on reducing the risk of infection. New science has been uncovered on biofilm, which will allow you to deliver the best possible biofilm removal therapy while still keeping your patients safe. This lively course will leave you wanting more!
