Abstract
If you've ever wondered why accountability doesn't stick, why communication breaks down despite good intentions, or why technology investments fail to deliver the results you expected, you're not alone.
Many dentists assume these challenges stem from motivation, personality conflicts, resistance to change, or a lack of training. Yet in many cases, the real issue lies elsewhere entirely.
People working toward the same goals can experience the same practice very differently. As practices become increasingly complex, small differences in perception can create significant challenges across communication, accountability, workflow adoption, and team performance. The result is a frustrating cycle in which practice owners feel as though everything still falls back on them.
In this engaging and thought-provoking webinar, Dr. Martin Mendelson draws on concepts from neuroscience, behavioral science, leadership research, and his Wharton Executive Education studies to explore why teams drift out of alignment and what leaders can do about it.
Through relatable examples, interactive polling, and practical insights, participants will uncover hidden factors that shape team behavior, technology adoption, and organizational performance. Most importantly, they will leave with a renewed perspective and actionable strategies to drive greater alignment, accountability, and engagement within their practices.
Because meaningful change rarely begins with technology. It begins with understanding how people experience the world around them.
