Abstract

Alzheimer’s disease is the sixth leading cause of death in the United States and rising. Until now it has been thought to be a terminal disease with no cure. In the past few years physicians around the country have been using a method called ReCODE developed by UCLA neurologist Dr. Dale Bredesen and many patients are improving their cognition. Periodontal bacteria, airway obstruction, and mercury from amalgams are all root causes of Alzheimer’s that must be addressed by dental professionals. Beginning in the fall of 2020, certification in dementia care was opened to Dentists and Dental Hygienists.

Learn how dental certification can dramatically benefit your patients, your dental practice, and you personally. It is the breakthrough many dental professionals have been seeking that will inspire medical professionals to seek their collaboration.
