Author Bio
Dr. Roberto Macedo, DDS, MS, PhD
Dr. Roberto Macedo is a prosthodontist, educator, and international speaker with more than 25 years of clinical experience in cosmetic and restorative dentistry. A third-generation dentist, Dr. Macedo has advanced training that includes a master’s degree, PhD, and prosthodontic residency.
His clinical approach combines artistry with advanced digital technologies, including digital smile design, 3D imaging, CAD/CAM dentistry, and digital treatment planning. Throughout his career, Dr. Macedo has contributed to dental research, published in peer-reviewed journals, presented at international dental conferences, and helped develop cosmetic dentistry curriculum for dental education.
Today, Dr. Macedo practices at the Advanced Center for Cosmetic Dentistry in St. Petersburg, Florida, where he focuses on comprehensive smile design and complex restorative treatment. He also lectures nationally and internationally, sharing his clinical experience and expertise in digital dentistry with fellow dental professionals.
