Author Bio
Ronni A. Schnell, DMD, MAGD, FICD, FACD
Dr. Schnell is a Clinical Professor and Director of Predoctoral Removable Prosthodontics courses at Boston University Goldman School of Dental Medicine. In addition to her academic role, Dr. Schnell serves on a multitude of committees and has been honored numerous times for her stellar commitment, teaching excellence, and contribution to BU. A frequent lecturer nationally and internationally, particularly concentrating on Implant-Retained Overdentures and Complete & Partial Dentures and Digital Dentures.
Dr. Schnell has completed over 2000 arches of digitally fabricated dentures and overdentures with her students and has shared her experiences from the trenches. Dr. Schnell received her Mastership and two Lifelong Learning and Service Recognition Awards from the Academy of General Dentistry. She is a Fellow of the International and American College of Dentists, member of the American Dental Association and the American College of Prosthodontists. She is an accomplished figure skater who has even competed at Adult Nationals in Lake Placid!
Dr. Schnell has maintained a private practice, The Classic Smile, in Medford, Massachusetts for over 42 years.
Gregory Gillespie, DDS
Dr. Greg Gillespie maintains a private practice in Vancouver, WA. Dr. Gillespie practices with his partners and family members Drs. Brad and Dennis Gillespie. Together they focus on general dentistry with an emphasis on esthetics, implants, sedation and interdisciplinary care. Dr. Gillespie graduated from the University of Washington in 2006 and approaches dentistry in a progressive, yet conservative manner. His success in dentistry stems from the clarity of purpose and effectiveness of communication with colleagues, staff, and patients. His vision of comprehensive dentistry focuses on effective treatment planning and utilizing the best dental materials available including the incorporation of digital dentistry. He is involved in ongoing evaluations of the latest materials and techniques in dentistry and is a key opinion leader for several dental manufacturers. Dr. Gillespie holds a strong passion for continuing education, lecturing around the country and devoting hours to furthering his own knowledge in esthetics, implants, and dental materials. He is known for his personal and approachable style, with an enthusiasm for dentistry that is contagious.
Dr. Jonathan Ng, BMedSc, DDS, MSc, Dip. Pros., FRCD(C) Prosthodontist
Dr. Jonathan A. Ng is a certified specialist in prosthodontics. His private prosthodontic office is situated in the heart of Vancouver where he focuses on complex prosthodontic treatment and the surgical placement of dental implants. Dr. Ng lectures nationally and internationally on digital dentistry and as a key opinion leader on the topic, he is involved in the development of many new technologies used daily in dental practices. Dr. Ng teaches at the UBC department of dentistry.
John K. Zalesky, DMD, MBS, FICOI, FAGD
Dr. John K. Zalesky, DMD, MBS, FICOI, FAGD, received his Master’s of Biomedical Science from the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey School of Biomedical Sciences. He was awarded his DMD degree from Nova Southeastern University College of Dental Medicine and completed a General Practice Residency at Denver Health Medical Center. Dr. Zalesky went on to complete a second year, advanced training program, as Chief Resident at the University of Colorado School of Dental Medicine General Practice Residency, concentrating on Implants and Complex Prosthodontic cases. Additionally, he collaborated with Head and Neck Oncology at UC Health to create a continuing education course entitled, “Head and Neck Radiation: The Collaborative Relationship for Patient Treatment between General Dentists and Radiation Oncologists.” He is a Fellow of the Academy of General Dentistry and is a Fellow of the International Congress of Oral Implantologists. Dr. Zalesky has been published in several respected dental journals.
Dentistry has been Dr. Zalesky’s ultimate career goal since a young age. His decision was reached as a result of the positive experiences he had with several dental professionals who corrected major issues with his teeth and who all became and remain important role models in his life. Dr. Zalesky enjoys the variety and challenges that each patient brings to the practice – each with their unique needs and circumstances and he is able to provide exceptional, high quality care. He performs a variety of procedures including advanced surgery, implants, Pinhole Surgical Technique, all-on-four, full mouth rehabilitation and orthodontics. Dr. Zalesky pays the highest attention to detail and incorporates the latest technology and research into his practice. He believes in building lasting relationships with every patient.
Currently, he divides his time between his private practice and teaching part-time as a faculty at the University of Colorado School of Dental Medicine. He is the Immediate Past President of the Colorado Constituent of the Academy of General Dentistry. He now resides as the Executive Director and Treasurer for Region 14 of the Academy of General Dentistry which oversees Arizona, Colorado, Hawaii, Nevada, New Mexico, Utah and Wyoming. He is a Key Opinion Leader for DEKA Dental Lasers, Carestream Dental and is a speaker for Catapult Education’s Speakers Bureau. Dr. Zalesky has consistently been listed as one of Colorado’s Top Dentists by 5280 magazine and was named 2023 Top 40 under 40 by Incisal Edge magazine.
