This masterclass offers clinicians a comprehensive approach to preserving enamel by leveraging cutting-edge diagnostic methods and remineralization science. Grounded in the principles of Minimally Invasive Dentistry (MID), the course emphasizes early detection and non-invasive treatment to halt and reverse early carious lesions. Participants will delve into the science of demineralization and remineralization, explore advances in caries diagnostics, and examine the role of biomimetic materials in promoting enamel regeneration. The course also addresses integration of minimally invasive protocols into daily practice, practical implementation strategies across diverse patient populations, and proper coding and documentation to support clinical and financial success. Author Bio
Dr. Adam Silevitch
Dr. Adam Silevitch is a board certified pediatric dentist and a diplomate of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry. He is a partner at Pediatric Dentists NYC (PDNYC) with two locations in NYC (Greenwich Village and Brooklyn Heights). Dr. Silevitch is an assistant clinical professor at Columbia University School of Dental Medicine, where he acted as chief resident while completing his specialty training in pediatric dentistry. He received his doctoral degree from Boston University School of Dental Medicine in 2009. He is the past-president of the Northeastern Society of Pediatric Dentistry and the current president of the New York Academy of Pediatric Dentistry. One of his passions is community service. He has done dental outreach trips to Jamaica, the Dominican Republic and Cape Verde, Africa.
