As a dentist, your responsibility goes beyond patient care—it includes ensuring proper sterilization protocols and minimizing legal risk. This focused webinar will cover the latest regulations, common compliance issues, and practical steps to protect your practice. Stay informed, stay compliant, and safeguard your professional reputation.

This webinar is designed to help dental teams navigate the legal and operational responsibilities tied to infection control. As regulatory oversight intensifies, it is essential for practices to stay up to date on evolving standards and recognize how failures in sterilization can result in serious consequences, including legal action, reputational damage, or license suspension. The session will explore key compliance frameworks, share insights from recent inspections and enforcement actions, and provide actionable strategies to strengthen internal protocols. Attendees will gain tools to improve documentation, enhance staff training, and build a defensible sterilization process that prioritizes both patient safety and professional protection.

Learning Objectives

After completing this webinar, participants will be able to:

  • Describe the legal and regulatory requirements related to sterilization in dental settings.
  • Identify common compliance gaps and risk areas that can lead to legal or professional consequences.
  • Implement strategies to enhance sterilization protocols, including documentation, staff training, and quality control.
