Author Bio
Mark Ludlow, DMD
Dr. Mark Ludlow is the Section Head of Implant Dentistry, Digital Dentistry, and Removable Prosthodontics at the University of Utah School of Dentistry. He completed his DMD dental training at the University of Connecticut and received his MS in prosthodontics from the University of North Carolina. As a practicing and teaching prosthodontist, Dr. Ludlow’s passion is in the development and integration of digital technology in the practice of everyday implant and restorative dentistry.
Michael DeFee, DMD, PhD
Dr. Mike DeFee is the founder of MOD Aesthetics, and oversees all clinical operations at the private practice. He is also the managing director of MOD Research, directly overseeing new research initiatives.
He previously founded My Friend’s Dentist, a private practice in North Carolina which became the 1st Certified B-Corporation practice on the east coast. He stewarded the organization through a digital transformation leading to triple digital growth during his leadership. The practice was acquired by Light Wave Dental in early 2021.
An alumni of The Dawson Academy, Dr. DeFee has published over 10 articles in peer reviewed journals including The Journal of Virology and Journal of Prosthetic Dentistry.
Anthony Ponzio, DDS
Dr. Anthony Ponzio is a 2004 graduate of the University of Illinois College of Dentistry and he has been in private practice ever since.
Dr. Anthony Ponzio is currently an adjunct faculty member at Midwestern University's College of Dental Medicine-Illinois, where he regularly presents to the students on dental technology.
He has taken extensive continuing education in the fields of orthodontics, cosmetic dentistry, and implant dentistry, and is an active member of the American Dental Association, Illinois State Dental Society, Chicago Dental Society, and the International College of Implantology.
Dr. Ponzio is also a Basic Trainer for CEREC CAD/CAM technology, and has had the pleasure of training hundreds of dentists and their staffs on dental technology and how to integrate it into their offices.
In his spare time, he is a huge Chicago sports fan and spends time with his wife and three sons.
Kristine Aadland, DMD
Dr. Kristine Aadland has an energy and excitement for life that is seen by all who have met her. Raised in Vancouver, Washington, Dr. Aadland attended dental school at Oregon Health & Sciences University, and graduated in 2006 with Clinical Honors. Her dream was always to have her own practice and in 2009, when many practices were struggling, she built her dream practice. She chose to differentiate herself in a competitive market by utilizing the best technology available for greater efficiency and patient comfort. The cornerstone of this technology was CAD/CAM and CBCT products. This choice has paid off as Dr Aadland’s practice has continued to realize remarkable growth each year. Dr. Aadland’s success is not by accident. She is constantly pushing the limits of CEREC technology with bridges, implants, orthodontics and her same day smile makeovers. This has all been made possible by the extensive continuing education that she does each year. As faculty for Clinical Pathway and NYU AEGD program, she has combined her love for teaching and giving back through creating live patient education experiences using CAD/CAM technology. Her passion and energy for CEREC is contagious.
Tim Anderson, DDS
Dr. Anderson is the owner and founder of Missouri River Dental, a startup practice in Bismarck, ND. He attended St. Mary’s high school in Bismarck, ND and is very happy to be back in this growing community. After receiving his doctor of dental surgery from the University of Minnesota School of Dentistry, he went on to complete his general practice residency at Hennepin County Medical Center (level 1 trauma center) in Minneapolis, Minnesota. As a dentist, Dr. Anderson believes in comprehensive, quality oral health care that is patient-centered. He strives to create a positive and comfortable experience for each guest while still meeting their dental needs, wishes and expectations. To him, being able to provide the latest in dental technology to enhance the overall dental office experience is very important. In addition to clinical dentistry, he maintains leadership roles within the dental profession as a KOL (key opinion leader) for Convergent Dental (dental lasers) and SprintRay, Inc (3d printing). You can catch him on the main stage presenting and lecturing on various dental topics nationwide and he has been featured in dental publications such as Dental Economics, Dental Town, and Inside Dentistry. Investing into the future of dentistry and other dental professionals is important to him as he also functions as a CEREC doctors’ mentor and a dental mentor for the University of Mary in Bismarck, ND and active member at the Spear Education Center.
Tony Mennito, DMD
Tony Mennito, DMD graduated from Temple Dental School in 2003 and moved to Charleston for his wife Sarah's Pediatric residency at MUSC. Initially practicing in Bamberg, he joined MUSC College of Dental Medicine in 2009, where he discovered a passion for teaching. Over the past decade, Dr. Mennito has balanced teaching and practicing dentistry with research, patenting a dental material, founding a biotech company, and publishing 17 clinical papers. He also launched an international speaking career on dental technology and materials. Now, he’s excited to join Expertise Dental, committed to advancing patient care with modern technology.
Brett Titensor, DDS
Brett Titensor, DDS, owner of Titensor Dental, follows in the footsteps of his father, Dr. Steve Titensor, who established the practice in 1986. After earning a B.S. in Exercise Science from Brigham Young University, Brett obtained his DDS from Baylor College of Dentistry. He worked alongside his father, gaining invaluable experience. Passionate about digital dentistry, Brett has served as a CEREC Mentor, Trainer, and Visiting Faculty for CDOCS.com. He is a Lifetime Qualified Crown Council Member, an Eagle Scout, and has been recognized as the Best Cosmetic Dentist in Denton County and a speaker at Dentsply Sirona World.
