If you’ve been restoring implants but hesitating to place them, this webinar walks you through the repeatable approach that turns implant placement from intimidating to achievable. Dr. Headley shares the framework for choosing the right cases, following a predictable workflow, and avoiding the pitfalls that derail most beginners.

This isn't a surface-level overview. Dr. Headley walks you through every stage of the implant process with the kind of specificity you'd expect from a seasoned mentor. Attendees leave knowing exact millimeter spacing formulas, precise drilling RPMs, how to read bone density from D1-D4, and exactly which cases to take on first, and which to avoid.

Sponsored by Oral Arts Dental Laboratory, the webinar also covers the critical role of lab communication, prosthetic planning, and how a trusted restorative partner can help general dentists place more confidently and efficiently from day one.

By attending this webinar you will learn about / how to:

  • Exact medical screening thresholds for diabetic, hypertensive, and blood thinner patients before placing

  • The Misch bone density classification (D1–D4) and where to expect each type in the mouth

  • The spacing formula for correct implant positioning every time

  • Minimum bone dimensions needed for width, length, and height at any implant site

  • Step-by-step surgical technique — incision design, drilling motion, speed, irrigation, and sequence

  • Realistic healing timelines for mandibular, maxillary, grafted, and sinus augmentation cases

  • Pre-op medication protocols including antibiotics, anti-inflammatories, and anesthesia options

  • How to plan prosthetically before you ever pick up a drill — and why it changes everything

  • The 5 most common mistakes new implant placers make and how to avoid them
