Abstract
Dentistry’s infection control protocols have always been of great importance; however, they were often left in the shadows as other “priorities” surfaced in our day-to-day operations.
Then the world changed in 2020. Infection control returned to “front and center” and became paramount for the safety of our patients and our dental teams. There was a call to arms for added protection in our practices. However, there is data to show that dentistry as a whole fared better than so many of the other health professions.
What did we do differently than the other health providers?
Come find out the protocols that are needed day-to-day. Learn about what you are doing well and where a few changes may be needed.
